As a young child, little Logan spent a lot of time watching martial arts shows and movies on television. He fell in love with martial arts weaponry, the flashy and eloquent twirls, the combination of martial artists and weapon moving as one, flowing in beautiful harmony. Logan spent a lot of time pretending and imitating the moves he saw on television. It became clear to his parents that it was time to do something, so they moved Logan from the television and brought him to Joey Perry’s Martial Arts in April of 2005. Excited, 8 year old Logan let his parents know that this was exactly what he had wanted to do and before long he was thoroughly immersed in his Tae Kwon Do training. Logan attended his first tournament in August of 2005, and from that point on Logan knew that it was not only Tae Kwon Do that he loved, but sport martial arts and competition as well.
Logan is a young and rising star in the AKA, where he has made his presence felt, particularly in the youth weapons competition, both open and extreme. Logan is training hard and looking forward to future competitions.
